Mikael Kashka Prijatna

My baby nephew will turn one month old this December so I made all the tag for his cakes and cupcakes that we will give to our relatives and friends. The theme color is brown and blue.

Seems just like yesterday I was chatting with my sister that her baby is far too late from the due date yet there's no sign of her giving birth at all and now he's one month old already. Time flies. Happy one month old my dearest Kael.

kikki-k

Did I tell you I love stationeries? (besides fabric and paper now here come stationeries!). Well I looooooveee stationaries a whole lot! One of the brand that I always fell in love with is kikki-k. Kikki-k is an Australian based stationeries line. They offer a wide range of products from stamps, writing tools, planners and bags. Their products came in an array selection of materials from printed canvas to leather.

Unfortunately their closest flagship store to Jakarta is based in Singapore and international shipping to my home will cost me another journal so I can only admire these pretty cute stuff from their web.

Do visit them if you're in Australia or Singapore! Please open a store in Jakarta whoever you are Kikki-k owner...

Extremely exhausted... but I'm not complaining hehe. I get to visit and meet my parents' today, my nephew and my most lovable Iyem. It's been a while since the last time I met them and boy how home (why home and not mom's? coz my mom inherit all her cooking abilities to my wonderful Iyem, um mom still cooks.... um no) cooking is still the best food ever.

On another note, since December is approaching, I will be giving a 'christmas giveaway' to our loyal Kimomo customers. I always feel the month of December is strongly connected with presents so there it is, presents presents and presents. More info to come on this giveaway =)

table of sweetness

Recently we just celebrated my daughter's first year birthday and me, in my very shallow confidence decided to throw her a dessert table. At first, I asked my very dear best friend who appears to be a very multi talented human being (she does scrapping, sewing, making fabric notebooks, and also beautiful dessert table), Kiara Flisha. But at the end of the day, it was I, the mother who decided to do it all (Flisha dances around happily when I decided to throw the table myself sigh...).

It's not easy I'm telling you all dessert table beginners. It's such an effort but I truly enjoyed it. I prepared everything from scratch (minus the food, I really am an awful baker) from paper tags, goodie bags, cupcake packages, games' presents and paper bunting. I filled the tables with some marshmallows, yummy cookie pops and puddings from my dear cousin Ita's Cake, some caramel popcorns, wafers, chocolate chip cookies and oh so yummy cupcakes from my dear friend Lisa.

Hopefully you'll love it my dear munchkin, happy 1st birthday, mommy loves you so...

it's about time

On this very gloomy day, I decided to start blogging (for real). I actually started blogging a while ago, but never get around it very much. So hopefully this time I can get around writing everyday (or every week, hehe).

I will share all things that I find wonderful for my eyes (I am such an easy pleaser so there will be a lot of things I share here) and I recently fell in love with paper. I always thought paper is such an annoying thing. What to do with the left over? How can you keep the left over tidily? Unlike fabric that you can easily fold and store, you definitely can't fold a paper without causing a crease and boy how i hate crease on a piece of a paper. But far long gone my loathe to paper, now paper is my new lover. And as if the paper fairy is teasing me, lately I found lots of beautiful paper. Here are some of the papers I think are very sweet and adorable.

all papers are beautiful collections from My Mind's Eye collection and luckily in Jakarta you can find this collections at Made With Love. Beautiful aren't they? And to make it even worst, they also come with some pretty embellishments, matching ribbons and die cuts even stamps. Life is not fair....  Sigh....
